I normally just cram myself around the month of December to be able to squeeze all my signed works for that year, but for this year, I think I crammed the whole time. With all this COVID-19 happening, you’ll never know. Having a hard time sleeping, I took a second Job as part time Lecturer in one of the biggest, if not, the biggest university in the Region, this was once again, a gravity for me to go back to the conflicting world of the Academe (what’s the new normal of it). It was here that I came across Coursera, an American massive open online course provider from leading universities and industries mostly in the US, I’m not sure. During one of my “educational” internet surfing, this “offering” pooped or popped out like a jack in a box. Which I ignored for the longest time for obvious reasons… it costs thousands of US Dollars! Until one day, an FB friend posted a couple of her Certificates, and so I inquired. .

Apparently, there’s a financial aid option for people like me. YEY! All you have to do, is to write them a letter, preferable a sad one, saying that you’d like to enroll, and you don’t have the money for it. It takes about two weeks for them to reply, and because I’m impatient and wanted to send more entries to get more chances, I sent for 2 courses at that time, 2 weeks later, I got approved for both! Which is impossible for me to manage. 2 jobs, 2 rock bands with no fame nor fortune, a couple of mental breakdowns, I don’t even know what day or time it is now. Anyways to cut the story short, I was able to enroll to 3 courses and already finished 2 (delayed twice the other one, because I keep dozing off.) .

So, in line with one of my courses “Seeing Through Photographs” a non-credit course authorized by the MoMA The Museum of Modern Art, I’m excited to present, my culmination Online Exhibit Project entitled “I have no Shoes, I murmured, I have dirty feet.” WARNING: Nothing could be more profound than this. A series of Photographs of my feet when I forget to wear shoes while painting. I’ll be uploading these pictures on December 31, 2020, last day to cap the year off! . Hope the algorithm will allow it to pass through your feeds so you can appreciate the cleanliness of your feet if you’re not an artist, your likes and cute messages will be so much appreciated, especially if you’re jealous and thinks Art is nonsense. Just Kidding, even if you’re not jealous.

Anyways! . Thinking of giving away some “Artist of Some Sort Souvenirs” for the most supportive friends out there! SHOUTOUT!!! To all the influencers that agreed to share my invite poster. You guys know who you are, I won’t hesitate to catch a grenade for you or maybe just share and like FB stuff when you request back for it. THANK YOU – Our Home Gallery by the way is in the Works – You can come and visit us here at 104 Kingfishers, St. Michael’s Village Maa, Davao City if you’d like to have a signed physical copy, just message ahead of time so I can prepare it for you. Until then, KEEP INSPIRING!
